Mixtaste solves exactly this problem. The steam diverter diverts the steam to the side and reliably protects your kitchen furniture. You can turn it flexibly and adjust where the steam is directed. Even if the contents in the mixing bowl rise higher, everything remains safe because the integrated outlet ensures that the steam can escape in a controlled manner and no pressure can build up - for a more relaxed cooking experience.

Mixtaste is available in two versions:

Variant 1: Thermomix TM7
Variant 2: Thermomix TM6, TM5

Scope of delivery:
Mixtaste Steam diverter (depending on the version selected)

Instructions for use:
Mixtaste onto the mixing bowl lid and align so that the steam is directed away to the side. Ideal if your Thermomix is located under wall units or cannot be placed directly under the extractor fan.

Care instructions:
Dishwasher safe

With the TM7 version, the Mixtaste additionally disassemble, which makes cleaning even easier. Remove residues regularly.

Safety instructions:
Hot steam escapes from the steam diverter, therefore there is a risk of burns. Never direct the steam jet at hands, face or sensitive surfaces. The integrated safety outlet prevents pressure build-up and ensures controlled steam release.

Is it dishwasher safe?

Yes, the steam chimney is dishwasher-safe and can therefore be cleaned easily and hygienically.

Does it fit on the Thermomix TM31?

No, the Mixtaste steam chimney is only compatible with the Thermomix TM6 and TM5. This accessory is not suitable for the TM31.

What material is the steam fireplace made of and is it heat-resistant?

The Mixtaste steam chimney consists of heat-resistant, BPA-free plastic and can easily withstand the steam and heat of the Thermomix.

Can steam escape from the side despite the MixTaste button?

Yes, some steam can escape from the side due to the safety vent. The focus is on preventing liquid from spraying out if the Thermomix boils over.

How easy is the installation?

The installation is very simple: The steam chimney is simply placed on the mixing bowl lid - without any tools. It can also be rotate 360°to individually align the steam outlet.
